We are on the right track, but there is more to do
The key takeaway I have from this unit is that our company is on the right track, everyone in the company values the importance of having a safe and respectful workplace where people are excited to come to and contribute to our collective success.
We have various groups in place that review needs such as accessibility and EDI. There is always room for improvement and we do have different branches that are identifying and prioritizing different needs within their branch. We try to integrate well-being and inclusivity in everything we do and we feel it is the responsibility of all employees to contribute to this. We want to be more proactive, educate and inform our employees, branch leaders and partners.
I really enjoyed the 13 Factors – Addressing Mental Health in the Workplace videos.
I will try to find ways to include learnings in our quarterly “Thriving Together” well-being newsletter that I coordinate and share on our company intranet.
