Critical Reflection
Looking back on the resources provided, along with the self reflection questions, something that stood out was the reinforcement of psychological health and safety. I feel that my organization does not emphasize this enough, and in our HR team I am seeing the result of this: employee relations issues, complaints, low morale, lack of leadership capacity, etc. I would like to start to apply the learning by using a checklist of the PHS factors, and determine where we are doing well, and what areas we can focus on improving. Once we have areas to focus on, I think having a visual will be important – so posting on our intranet a graphic or commitment that speaks to our goals to address will help with transparency.
