CWHP-A Reflections: Unit WWC00

The biggest takeaway I had from this unit was the review of Psychological Health and Safety - ironically as a JHSC member, I have never included this in my overview. Monthly I evaluate all other aspects of safety and research and maintain the checklists from that perspective. This was a topic that took me into a deeper dive than the supplied resources resulting in a committee meeting and introduction of resources for the staff, as well as posters for the workplace emphasizing the key points. Our leadership is very supportive of this work and work with us to implement these things. As a healthcare clinic, we have access to great mental health resources and this will be a staff led initiative moving forward, with support from all levels.
