You are unique, just like everyone else
Wellness strategy and/or programming do not have to be applicable to all organizations. Being able to know your organization, the employees (need), and the culture is key to a successful Wellness initiative. This reflection stood out as I finished this unit, mainly because in order to promote and implement Wellness programming, especially to the leadership team, I have to indicate the Why and provide them practical yet realistic reasoning to make the initiative effective. So, conducting a thorough assessment and partnering with select ambassadors, will help the planning and implementation be a success. Finally, this is not a perfect process and so having a feedback mechanism from the employees is vital to promote continuous improvement.
