Critical Reflection Health and Performance

There are many areas of focus for wellness and one size does not fit all for sure. Health performance outcomes can come in many ways and sometimes it is trial and error and can be super frustrating when you try so hard to get that engagement but it does not transpire. I would learn more ways to engage with the online way rather than traditional in house way. Providing great benefits can be motivator for employees so providing something employees value would be something to apply to our current benefits. You can do everything right and still you may not see results for several years down the road and need to remember these changes today happen over long term. Health Safety and Wellness all fall under the same umbrella and needs to be applied together in organizations which I would like to review in our workplace and make it more connected.

Hi Susan there is definitely trial and error involved. There is the challenge of getting employees to understand that wellness is part of the overall program and it is more than just the benefits package that is offered. Perseverance is key and being open to a variety of communication methods, such as the online way you reference. Good luck!
