Economic Uncertainty
With the economic uncertainty employees that have been struggling are now resorting to behaviours such as theft, they are becoming increasingly stressed and feeling unstable.
In our organization we have strategies, tools and policies however I believe a under arching quick current assessment would be valuable to support those that are struggling. Taking more time to connect with our teams, telling them face to face that we appreciate their contribution and asking them if they know how their part contributes to the organization improves culture and builds community. We have champions in every department to help support colleagues that would happily refer co-workers to HR for resources – this is an area for us to look into.
