CWHP-A Reflections: Unit WWC01

The main takeaway for me in this unit is the importance of identifying the root cause of what is causing poor health within an organization. The work to uncover the root cause is time-consuming and must be completed with a keen eye, as it may not always be obvious. Using a combination of techniques, including appreciative inquiry, anonymous surveys, focus groups, and informal conversations can help to uncover underlying issues that are causing poor health.

Once the root cause(s) are identified, the work can begin toward developing the solutions.

If you don't know what the problem is, it is impossible to fix it.
