The importance of vision
The thing that stood out most to me in this unit is the need for a strategic vision. Having a plan for where you want to go can be used to motivate stakeholders and turn a change management exercise into a change leadership moment. It can also help to encourage employees and leaders to integrate wellness into operations. When creating wellness committees (or incorporating wellness into pre-existing committees), it can help to guide the conversation and inspire participants to create change. I think one of my first objectives for 2025 will be to create our strategic vision for health and wellness at our organization.
