Critical Reflection Learnings
Two things stood out for me from this unit: the concept of change leadership, and the importance of ambassadors and sponsorship.
I have never thought about change leadership as being different and separate from change management. Having a new understanding that change leadership is like thinking about it as an engine helped me differentiate the two.
I feel that I have a good network of contacts and good relationships throughout my organization. Utilizing these to help establish a network of ambassadors will be crucial for moving a strategy forward. I also will need to heavily rely on the executive sponsor to ensure success of a wellness strategy. I knew this before, but having more information and resources really drive home the importance of this sponsor being the “voice” of the new strategy.

I also found the difference between change management and change leadership informative.
