What do today’s wicked world-of-work problems need?
Change leadership and first followers (ambassadors/champions). That’s what’s needed!
I was inspired by (and aspire to) change leadership. It is the engine needed to propel the transformational change required for a culture of workplace health and performance to take root at a systemic level. Done well, it will rip the “programmatic focus” band-aid off and challenge corporate leaders to dig deeper with a “systemic focus” that looks at how the workplace itself impacts employee health and organizational performance.
BUT change leadership alone is not enough. A MOVEMENT is required. And to start a movement, passionate and influential ambassadors/champions are a critical part of the success equation. When nurtured with respect, they (not the leader) will engage and lead the wave of change across the organization.
In short, I believe that change leadership + passionate first followers are the organizational levers required to inspire a movement to tackle the urgent and wicked problems plaguing the world of work today.

Totally agree. A movement that comes from the top down and the ground up!
