CWHP-A Reflections: Unit WWC03

Sometimes simple is best. At times we can face barriers whether it be funding, resourcing, or time. However sharing stories, open up safe space for discussion and sharing resources cost nothing. There are many ways in which we can continue to implement a strategy when barriers present themselves. Opening up dialogue with staff and listening to one another only takes time and has no financial cost to the organization. Instead, it helps foster a psychologically safe space for people to share, and hold empathy for one another.  We’ve also turned to equipping our staff with free resources, podcasts, articles, organizations and listing our resources to find counsellors in their specific province.
