UNIT WWC04:LEVEL 1 - IMPLEMENTATION CRITICAL REFLECTION
Everything I wrote for this unit had one common link - consistency and momentum will build a program. I realized how far I had come with where I had started. That's important because as you move into funded lines of a budget, it's easy to forget how the small things can make such a valuable first impact. This is especially true if the culture of the organization is heavily damaged. I had to build trust before I could take big leaps. The key is not the money - the key is in the support of the stakeholders. You have to have support in the staff to make them believe change is possible and sustainable. The mgmt teams need to give time, which is always a challenge, but far easier to give than funding. And the top levels need to see the momentum that you create in order to start funding and changing their perspective in the value of employee wellness.
