Stuff happens when we are making plans
Stuff happens when we are making plans yet without a plan, we can simply plan to fail.
Once the time, effort and energy has been invested in making a plan, it is important that each team member is invested and does their part to ensure success.
How do we ensure continued engagement and inspiration? Realistic goals and targets, along with recognition is one key factor. Communication is also really important; clearly defining roles and responsibilities, timelines, action plans, expectations, and accountability all needs to be shared and clearly communicated to all key stakeholders.
Share the success big and small! Allow personal stories to be at the forefront. Listening to what is working, what is not, and seeing the big picture, not just the end goal is so important. We need to watch, listen and learn on the journey as I am always surprised at what comes forward when we open the door to possibilities. Some things will work. Some will not. That is ok.
So having a deliberate strategy that has been developed with thought and intention is important. Allowing emergent strategies to come forward with positive intent and flexibility will increase engagement.
Working together, communication, and learning as we go is sometimes the best path forward.

I like how you framed this, especially the section about allowing emergent strategies....
