Final Reflection - Building Together
First thing is first, leadership buy-in is imperative. Identifying the WIIFM for all target audiences will be the key to the success. Through understanding the direct correlation of a healthy workforce and the bottom line, employers will get on board with creating a work culture that invests in their employees well being. This course has provided a ton of tools, formulas and a framework to take this journey and I am so grateful.
Another key factor in all of this is building trust with employees, especially if it has been fractured. Getting that benchmarking data from their input but also SHOWING them that they are being heard and steps are being taken to address the gaps will start to build that trust and open up communication.
Ensuring that employees are accountable too in creating this healthy work culture is important as well. If they are empowered by their leadership by giving them some autonomy, building together, it will create a happier and healthier environment for all.
I think it’s important that every organization customize what their wellness and productivity plan can look like. This is not a one-size fits all approach. It depends on the needs of the employees and the operational feasibility of ensuring success.
One third of the time in the average person’s life is spent working, it’s important that it be healthy and safe.

I like the reflection about the amount of time spent in a working milieu.
I think it asks an impactful question to the listener for consideration and self reflection.
Triggering the action cycle of awareness, design and implementation of culture transformation that promotes positive health outcomes best practices.
