This has been a great experience connecting all the dots and having access to all the resources on this topic!
Whether I continue to work in wellbeing or not, I will continue to advocate for wellbeing in the workplace. I love that we have a clearly outlined way to compile performance metrics and illustrate the ROI with regards to investing in workplace wellness strategy and initiatives.
My biggest takeaways:
- The importance of getting a baseline and setting metrics at the beginning
- Getting an understanding of where the Executive team is at so you are able to address their concerns or areas they don't understand early in the process
- Finding advocates and champions at the highest level is key
- I will continue to use wellbeing champions
- Setting a regular schedule for reporting progress is key
