Final Reflection

This course was a wealth of information and very inspiring. I intend to take the practitioner certification next and look forward to helping organizations transform their workplace culture into a happier, healthier and higher performing one. Every organization will be slightly different when building a wellness program and there is no one size fits all approach. Each program will be unique and will have different factors that drive it and make it succeed. Communication is absolutely crucial on all levels to ensure the success of the program. Understanding what the stakeholders want, what their vision is, and ensuring it aligns with their business strategy will be the key to success. Having two-way communication to ensure feedback, accountability and recognition will be a necessity. Understanding the importance of both VOI and ROI in evaluating the effectiveness of a program. Sharing quick wins to help build morale, inspire and engage employees. I would like to apply this learning by educating employees and leaders on strategies they can use to improve the health of both their employees and organization. Whether it be lunch and learns or virtual trainings It would be so inspiring to be able to make a difference in the health of our population and workforce.

Great post! I agree communication is key at all levels to ensure success. It is something that gets overlooked and is an essential part of the process.
