Practice What You Preach :)
This unit has served as a powerful reminder of the importance of practicing what I preach. As someone who naturally prioritizes the well-being of others, I have struggled in the past to prioritize my own self-care. However, this journey has led me to where I am today, in a role that allows me to positively impact more people's wellness. It has become clear to me that in order to inspire and engage others with my vision, I must lead by example and prioritize my own wellness on a daily basis regardless of how busy things can get!
I am delighted to share that my own self-care has significantly improved, and I now genuinely enjoy staying up to date on wellness practices, self-help information, and fostering wellness in the workplace. Recognizing the importance of modeling the behavior I advocate for has been a transformative experience, and I am excited to continue growing and inspiring others on their own wellness journeys :)

Congrats Zainab. I love the Brene Brown quote that "one day you will tell your story of how you overcame what you went through and it will become someone else's survival guide." I love how you are using your own journey to stay committed to your own and also empowering others to take care of their own well-being, leading from the front and showing and proving that it's possible. I find the same for me. Sometimes tho, its easy to slip into old habits - putting others first, burning out at the expense of saving everyone else's wellness. I love how you are leaning in, growing and leading from the front. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing :)
