Reflection on Leadership and Culture
I have taken away many things in this unit. Modeling behavior from the top down is critical in the overall health of employees. Having a shared vision and buy in from management will help to implement different strategies and practices. Involving staff in decisions and getting feedback fosters trust. Employees feel more engaged and that their voices are heard which translates to increased productivity and overall employee health.
Also understanding the diversity of your organization and implementing practices to ensure inclusivity gives everyone a sense of belonging and value. Staff realize they are an integral part of the organization and that management cares about each individual.
Setting up structures to address burn out, workloads, etc give employees "permission" to tap out if needed. It demonstrates that management and the organization cares enough about the employee well being to put these in place.

I love this. I was curious if a structure to anonymously "tap out" and let management know you are reaching burnout is possible. I know there will certainly be some people who are scared to let their managers know they can't handle anymore as it may be viewed as weakness or suggest they are not as capable as others. I guess it is all about creating a safe space and environment where employees feel they can speak freely without any repercussions.
