It's the small things
What stood out most for me was learning about ergonomics and CTD and the built environment. As I was reading the article I was sitting on my couch looking down on the screen, writs not in line with the keyboard, lower back not supported. I got up and went to go work at my desk right after realizing I better start walking the talk. I took for granted how such small actions that we do repetitively can lead to injury. Similarly small actions continuously like starting your day with fruit and water, taking stretch breaks, acknowledging something you did well can all lead to a healthier lifestyle. It's not what you do once in a while, it's what you do daily that contributes the most. So my focus will be on small impactful changes both personally to follow and to teach. I also loved the built environment section. Many employers don't ask what kind of environment their employees want when making a renovation. I definitely plan to include my employees on the built environment and let them have a say in the design of the workplace.

I love this Kristin! It's so true how the little things done day after day can have a profound impact!
