The Venn Diagram is a Circle - UNIT WHPP02:LEVEL 2
This was a great unit for solidifying just how interconnected the elements of Physical well-being, Psychological well-being, Productivity, Equity and Inclusivity, Sustainability, and even Biographical Factors (so many of the social determinants of health) really are. If it were a Venn diagram, it would basically be a circle since there is that much overlap of all these factors!
That’s why I think it’s so important when strategizing about employee well-being, to consider as many of the other factors as possible, and why just focusing on “healthy programs” doesn’t work as well as a holistic approach.
Or similarly, when we talk about productivity, there are a million different (often costly!) programs and platforms out there promising to revolutionize your team’s productivity. Some might work for a few people, often only for a short time, but may not work at all for a big chunk of your team because yet another tool will not address the root of the problem: the mental, physical, and emotional conditions required to do quality and consistent work. Those conditions are dependent on having time to rest and disconnect, and to work in a psychological and physically safe environment. Everything else is a bandaid solution because it doesn’t recognize the interconnectedness above!

That title is everything!! Funny and so true 😀 So much overlap and interconnectivity.
