CWHP-P Reflection: Unit WHPP03

One of the biggest takeaways for me from this unit was the aspect of budgeting. In my view, it’s really hard to determine a budget until you do the assessment and planning to see what elements are actually needed for the organization and the employees. 

This could be a potential barrier to getting buy-in to even start the strategic planning process, because there’s no way to guess a budget until you go through the planning. However, there are many changes that can improve health and performance that are free or low-cost and of course the organization could prioritize the items that are part of the health and performance strategy budget.
